• Από το 2004 ως 2012, εργαζόμουν συνεχώς ως Επιμελητής Επεμβατικός Καρδιολόγος στο Αιμοδυναμικό Εργαστήριο και ως Υπεύθυνος Επιμελητής στη Μονάδα Εμφραγμάτων του Τζανείου Νοσοκομείου Πειραιά.
• Ως Επεμβατικός Καρδιολόγος διενεργούσα περίπου 300 επεμβατικές πράξεις το χρόνο που συμπεριελάμβαναν στεφανιογραφίες και αγγειοπλαστικές των στεφανιαίων αρτηριών. Οι αγγειοπλαστικές αφορούσαν ασθενείς όλου του φάσματος της στεφανιαίας νόσου συμπεριλαμβανομένων ασθενών με στηθάγχη και οξύ έμφραγμα του μυοκαρδίου.
• Το 2012 εργάστηκα ως clinical fellow στο Brompton Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Trust του Λονδίνου.
• Τον Μάιο του ίδιου έτους αναλαμβάνω ως διευθυντής Επεμβατικός Καρδιολόγος (Consultant Interventional and Cardiologist) στο Alexandra Hospital, Worcestershire Acute Hospitals της Αγγλίας, όπου και υπηρέτησα συνεχώς ως και τον Ιούλιο του 2013.
• Τον Ιούλιο του 2013 επέστρεψα στο Τζάνειο Νοσοκομείο από το οποίο αποχώρησα το 2014. Μέχρι της έναρξής μου στο Νοσοκομείο Metropolitan το Σεπτέμβριο του 2014, εργάστηκα εκ νέου ως Διευθυντής Επεμβατικός Καρδιολόγος στο Fairfield General Hospital, στο Great Western Hospital και το North Bristol Hospital της Αγγλίας με συμβάσεις διάρκειας 2-3 μηνών στο καθένα.
• Από το Σεπτέμβριο εργάζομαι ως Διευθυντής Επεμβατικός Καρδιολόγος στο Νοσοκομείο Metropolitan.

Αποφοίτησα από την Ιατρική Σχολή Αθηνών το 1992.
Το 2001 ολοκλήρωσα την ειδίκευσή μου στην καρδιολογία στο Τζάνειο Νοσοκομείο Πειραιά.Κατά τη διάρκεια της ειδίκευσής μου εκπαιδεύτηκα στην Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία και τη μεθοδολογία της έρευνας στο Saint Vincent Medical Center της Νέας Υόρκης Αμερικής υπό του δασκάλου μου John Ambrose.
Κατά τη χρονική περίοδο 2002-2004 μετεκπαιδεύτηκα στην Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία και Γενική Εντατικολογία στο Τζάνειο Νοσοκομείο Πειραιά.

Η επαγγελματική μου δραστηριότητα περιλαμβάνει την θεραπεία και διαχρονική παρακολούθηση όλων σχεδόν των καρδιακών παθήσεων που αφορούν τους ενήλικες, με κύριο ενδιαφέρον στις παθήσεις των στεφανιαίων αγγείων (στηθάγχη και έμφραγμα του μυοκαρδίου)
Διενεργώ τις επεμβάσεις των στεφανιαίων μέσω της κερκιδικής αρτηρίας και η επαγγελματική μου δραστηριότητα περιλαμβάνει όλο το φάσμα των στεφανιαίων παρεμβάσεων συμπεριλαμβανομένων της στεφανιογραφίας, αγγειοπλαστικής σε σταθερούς ασθενείς ή πρωτογενούς αγγειοπλαστικής σε ασθενείς με οξύ έμφραγμα του μυοκαρδίου.
Έχω ειδικευθεί στη χρήση του Rotablation για τη θεραπεία ιδιαιτέρως ασβεστωμένων και σκληρών στεφανιαίων στενώσεων και στη μέτρηση της στεφανιαίας ροής (FFR) για την αξιολόγηση της σοβαρότητας των στεφανιαίων βλαβών.

Έχω ιδιαίτερο ενδιαφέρον για την έρευνα στην καρδιολογία και πολλά από τα αποτελέσματα των επιστημονικών μου ερευνών έχουν παρουσιασθεί σε διεθνή καρδιολογικά συνέδρια και έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε αναγνωρισμένα διεθνή ιατρικά περιοδικά.
