The residents of Neapoli Voion in Laconia extended a heartfelt welcome to the medical team of the Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG), which visited the area on the weekend of 13–14 June 2026 as part of the Group’s “Pantou” Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
Healthcare professionals and administrative personnel from Metropolitan Hospital, Hygeia Hospital and Metropolitan General travelled to the area, where the specialised medical team provided local residents with free clinical and preventive healthcare services. The team, which included a vascular surgeon, a cardiologist, an orthopaedic surgeon, a breast surgeon and an otorhinolaryngologist, conducted more than 300 medical examinations.
The initiative was carried out in close cooperation with the local authorities and the area’s Health Centre, ensuring a smooth, well-organised process for welcoming and examining residents.
To date, the Group has completed 34 voluntary medical outreach missions, providing care to 14,729 residents and performing 52,755 medical and diagnostic examinations across the following areas: Lipsi–Agathonisi, Achilleio–Agioi Theodoroi, Nafpaktos, Lechaina–Varda, Papades–Agia Anna in Evia, Gravia–Delphi, Rovies–Mantoudi in Evia, Dimitsana in Arcadia, Ypati–Pavliani, Konitsa, Tzia, Agios Dimitrios–Pothi in Evia, Stymfalia–Feneos in mountainous Corinthia, Stropones–Metochi in Evia, Skyros, Karpenisi, Karpathos, Kalavryta, Kalambaka, Leros, Tilos, Nisyros, Argos Orestiko, Symi, Argithea in the Agrafa region, Kasos, Astypalea, Sifnos, Vonitsa, Farkadona in Thessaly, Krestena in Ilia, Milos, Meganisi and Neapoli Voion.
In parallel, HHG supports Health Centres and medical clinics by providing medical equipment, as well as pharmaceutical and healthcare supplies.
