This state-of-the-art unit includes the new Femtolaser LenSx, which performs the initial stages of surgery with remarkable precision, top phacoemulsification devices such as Alcon Centurion and Bausch & Lomb Stellaris PC, the Verion Image Guided System for the most accurate surgical planning, and the Haag Streit Lenstar 900 for optical biometry to calculate the power of the intraocular lens replacing the cataractous lens. The Clinic uses the best intraocular lenses available worldwide, typically of American or German origin, allowing correction of all refractive errors simultaneously with cataract removal.
For the correction of myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia, the Clinic’s latest acquisition is the Wavelight Excimer Laser system for refractive surgery, used in combination with the Alcon Femtolaser. Presbyopia surgery can be performed using various methods: multifocal premium intraocular lenses, monovision systems, and intracorneal implants.
