Professional Experience
During Speciality Training:
At "Agios Savvas" Hospital from 22/05/1992 to 15/04/1997, as a resident, trained in the Departments of General Radiology, Angiography, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound and Mammography.
After obtaining the specialty of Radiologist:
- At the Breast Diagnostic Center “Prolepsis” with Professor Mr. Vasilaros Stamatios from 01/05/1998 to 30/11/1999.
- At the Diagnostic Center “Medical Research” from 26/10/1997 to 07/11/1999. At the Diagnostic Center “Mediscan” in the ultrasound and computed tomography department, as a scientific manager for 6 months.
- In December 1999, appointed to the position of Curator B’ in the 1st Radiodiagnostic Department of the “Agios Savvas” Hospital in the Breast Diagnostic Unit. In July 2007, promoted to the rank of Senior Curator and in November 2013, then promoted to the rank of Director of Radiology of the Department, where she served until July 2014.
- From April 2015 to November 2024, she worked at the Breast Diagnostic Center “Prolepsis”, as head of the Breast Diagnostic Department.
- Since November 2024, she has been working as Director at the Breast Center of Metropolitan Hospital, the only one with the International “Breast Centers Certification” of the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists (EUSOMA)
Throughout her career, she has performed a multitude of examinations: Mammograms, Ultrasounds, Fine Needle Assays (FNA) under u/s guidance, CORE-BIOPSY and placement of guide wires (HOOK) as part of pre-operative checks.
