Pavlou Kalliopi

Mrs. Kalliopi Pavlou is an experienced anatomical pathologist with a strong background in clinical practice and academic research. She currently works at Metropolitan Hospital with a focus on anatomical pathology, cytology and molecular pathology, providing high-quality diagnostic services.

Her previous appointments include Iatriko Hospital in Marousi, where she worked until July 2026, HYGEIA Hospital, the Departments of Cytopathology and Anatomical Pathology at Evangelismos General Hospital, and Alexandra General Hospital in Athens.

She holds a Master's Degree in "Neoplastic Disease in Humans: Diagnosis, Combined Therapy and Research" from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with an Excellent grade (9.2).

She is a certified medical specialist in Anatomical Pathology, with C2 proficiency in English and B1 in French. She has also contributed to the scientific field through publications and presentations at European Congresses of Pathology.

Continuing education and staying up to date with the latest scientific and technical developments in pathology are among her main professional goals. Her areas of expertise include immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry and public health, contributing to improved diagnosis and patient care.
