Profile
Olga Ampartzidou is a specialist in Internal Medicine with more than 15 years of clinical experience in tertiary hospital care. She has had a long-standing clinical career at Metropolitan Hospital, where she has progressively assumed positions of increasing responsibility and, since 2019, has served as Director of Internal Medicine, playing an active role in managing complex medical cases.
In 2013, she was awarded a PhD in Medicine by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her doctoral research focused on the role of ischemic preconditioning and preinfarction angina in the prognosis of patients with acute myocardial infarction. She also holds an MSc in Health Informatics, with a particular focus on applying modern information technologies and data management in healthcare.
Her research interests primarily include cardiovascular risk factors, biomarkers, metabolic disorders, and diabetes mellitus. She has participated in clinical research protocols and national registries and has authored several scientific papers published in reputable international peer-reviewed journals.
