Dr. Iosif Boutsikakis graduated with distinction from the School of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University’s Therapeutic Clinic and earned a PhD with honors from the same institution.
He served for many years as an attending physician in Internal Medicine at “Evangelismos” General Hospital and pursued advanced training in Infectious Diseases at Cornell University Medical College in New York, USA.
He has contributed extensively to the medical literature through publications in both Greek and international peer-reviewed journals and has regularly participated in national and international scientific congresses.
Since 2002, Dr. Boutsikakis has held the position of Director of the Department of Internal Medicine at Metropolitan Hospital.
