Kanella Drakopoulou is a graduate of the Charles University Faculty of Medicine in the Czech Republic (2010–2016). After completing her rural medical service at the Primary Healthcare Unit of Gennadi in Rhodes, she began her pediatric residency at the General Hospital of Rhodes and completed it at Penteli Children's Hospital in Athens. During her training, she gained broad clinical experience through specialized placements in leading pediatric departments and units.
Specifically, she received training in Neonatal Intensive Care Units at “Elena Venizelou” General Hospital and “P. & A. Kyriakou” Children's Hospital, as well as in the departments of Nephrology, Neurology, Gastroenterology–Hepatology, Allergology, and Endocrinology at major pediatric hospitals in Athens. This multifaceted training enhanced her scientific knowledge and her holistic approach to child healthcare.
She presented posters at two Panhellenic Pediatric Conferences, in 2018 and 2025, sharing clinical insights and best practices.
Dr. Drakopoulou has also worked in rural clinics, providing healthcare services to communities in remote areas. She demonstrates a strong interest in continuous medical education and in the ongoing advancement of pediatric care practices.
