PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE - EDUCATION
He trained as an orthopedic surgery specialist at the Athens University 3rd Orthopedic Clinic, KAT General Hospital of Athens, where he gained extensive experience in dealing with trauma, and the treatment of upper limb, lower limb and spine conditions. During his specialization training, he completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Athens and received an MSc (Master of Science) in osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. In 2012, he worked as a Clinical and Research Fellow at the Weil Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Institute, Chicago, Illinois, USA, where he specialized in foot and ankle conditions, under the supervision of world renowned Foot and Ankle Surgeon Lowell Weil Sr. In 2013, he worked in Birmingham, UK, as a Senior Clinical Fellow in the Foot and Ankle Unit, Royal Orthopedic Hospital, one of the oldest purely orthopedic hospitals in the UK and a center of excellence for orthopedic conditions, where he obtained considerable experience in foot and ankle disorders.
In 2014, he returned to Greece and worked as a Registrar at the Mediterraneo Hospital Sports Injury Clinic, Glyfada. Since the November of 2014, he has been working as a Registrar at the Metropolitan Hospital Orthopedic Clinic.
