The Metropolitan Hospital Sports Injury Department is a model center that addresses all sports-related conditions in patients, including top-level athletes. It is equipped with state-of-the-art devices, comparable and sometimes even better than those found in international sports medicine centers.
Procedures performed:
- Knee arthroscopy (menicectomy, cartilage lesions surgery, cruciate ligament plastic surgery, knee instability repair etc.)
- Shoulder arthroscopy (cartilage lesions, acromioplasty, instability, tendon suturing)
- Elbow, wrist, hip, ankle arthroscopy (cartilage lesions, foreign body removal etc.)
Tendon and ligament suturing and repair (patellar tendon, Achilles tendon etc.) is also performed via open surgery.
